Le Commentaire biblique : Nouveau Testament est une collection de commentaires scientifiques publiée sous la direction de Hugues Cousin, Camille Focant, Jean-Pierre Lémonon, Chantal Reynier et Jacques Schlosser. L'objectif principal de ce commentaire est de faire apparaître la dynamique du texte pris comme un ensemble. Après une traduction de travail, la plus littérale possible, où sont abordées aussi les questions de critique textuelle, puis la bibliographie propre du texte étudié, la partie " Interprétation " donne une explication de l'ensemble de chaque péricope en tenant compte de l'articulation du texte. Elle se veut accessible à un large public (enseignants et étudiants en théologie, prêtres, pasteurs, laïcs qui ont une formation théologique, spécialistes des littératures de l'Antiquité). Les mots grecs y sont systématiquement translittérés. La partie " Notes, est plus technique et destinée à éclairer des points relevant de la philologie ou de l'histoire. Elle apporte aussi des états de la question non repris dans la partie " Interprétation ". Chaque volume du CbNT comporte une introduction substantielle à l'écrit commenté, une bibliographie d'ensemble et divers index (auteurs modernes, littérature ancienne, thématique)
